Is BrightCrab only a checklist?

No. It combines a checklist tailored to your move with box tracking and photos, estimated and actual costs, notes, contacts, archived moves, backups, and a printable move manifest.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no BrightCrab account, sign-up, or sign-in.

Where is my data stored?

Your moves, addresses you choose to enter, checklists, boxes, photos, budget, notes, contacts, and settings are stored in the app’s private storage on your device. NuPebbles cannot see them.

Does BrightCrab work offline?

Yes. Planning and recording your move works offline. Buying or restoring the one-time unlock requires a connection to your device’s app marketplace.

Can I change the suggested checklist?

Yes. The tailored checklist is a starting point. You can add your own tasks and edit, reorder, complete, or remove tasks as the move changes.

How do I move my information to a new device?

Choose Back up data on the old device and save the file somewhere the new device can reach. On the new device, choose Restore from backup and select that file.

Is restoring my purchase the same as restoring my data?

No. Restore Purchases asks your device’s app marketplace to restore the one-time unlock associated with your store account. Restore from backup imports your moves and records from a BrightCrab backup file. On a new device, you may need both.

Can I print or share my move information?

Yes. Export to PDF creates a move manifest from the sections you select. Your device then lets you print, save, or share it.

Are notifications sent through a server?

No. BrightCrab schedules its archive prompt locally on your device. There is no NuPebbles push-notification server.

Is there a subscription?

No. BrightCrab has a single one-time unlock.

How do I delete everything?

Open the side menu and choose Reset all data. This permanently removes the BrightCrab information stored in the app. Save a backup first if you may want it later.
