Help with BrightKeys is below. If your question isn’t answered here, email support@nupebbles.com and a person will reply.

Getting started

Start with What can I afford? to see an estimated home budget. Then tap Add a home, answer the questions about it, and see what it may cost each month.

Reading a home’s results

Each home gets a plain Green, Yellow, or Red read, with the reasons in plain words. These are estimates from the numbers you enter, not a loan offer, so check them with a lender before you decide.

The four tabs

Homes holds your saved homes. Learn has short lessons and a glossary. Payoff shows how extra payments could change a loan. More has your settings, text size, appearance, and backup.

The full app

What can I afford?, Learn, and More are free. One payment unlocks the full app: adding homes and their results, Compare, and the Payoff tab. There’s no subscription.

If you reinstall BrightKeys or get a new iPhone, tap Add a home, then tap Restore purchase while signed in to the same Apple Account.

Moving to a new phone

On your old phone, go to More > Back up your data and tap Make a backup file. Save it somewhere your new phone can reach. On the new phone, go to More > Restore from a backup and pick that file. Backup and restore are free.

Your data

The app keeps everything on your phone. There’s no account, and nothing is sent to us.

Contact

Email support@nupebbles.com. It helps to say which device you are using and what you expected to happen.

Because BrightKeys keeps everything on your device and sends nothing to us, we cannot see your entries or recover them for you — if a question is about something you wrote, please describe it in the message.
