Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Everything works offline. Only buying or restoring BrightTend Lifetime needs a connection to the App Store.
Where is my writing stored?
On your device only. Nothing is sent anywhere. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
Why are there no streaks or scores?
A streak turns one missed day into a reason to stop. A day you answered Not today is still a day you showed up and answered, and BrightTend treats it that way.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing. The day stays blank, and the line in History breaks there. Past days can’t be filled in later, so there’s nothing to catch up on.
Why does a line skip some days without breaking?
Those days were never part of that action — they weren’t among the weekdays you chose for it. A break means a day with nothing recorded.
How many actions should I have?
Three is usually enough.
Can I print a month?
Yes, with BrightTend Lifetime. In History, choose Save as PDF, pick one month or many, and BrightTend shows how many pages it will be before you save. The PDF goes to your device’s share sheet, where you can print it or save it.
How do I change an answer?
Tap the answer again to clear it, or tap a different one. You can change today’s answers and note until midnight.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Help & privacy → Delete everything. This cannot be undone. Deleting the app also removes everything it stored, so save a backup first if you might want it back.
