Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to.
Does it work offline?
Yes, always. BrightTend never uses the network, so there is no difference between online and offline.
Where is my writing stored?
On your device only. Nothing is sent anywhere. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
Why are there no streaks or scores?
A streak turns one missed day into a reason to stop. A day you answered Not today is still a day you showed up and answered, and BrightTend treats it that way.
What happens if I miss a day?
Nothing. The day stays blank, and the line in History breaks there. Fill it in whenever you like — or don’t.
Why does a line skip some days without breaking?
Those days were never part of that action — they weren’t among the weekdays you chose for it. A break means a day you meant to record and didn’t.
How many actions should I have?
Three is usually enough.
Can I print a month?
Yes. Choose Save this month as PDF, and the PDF goes to your device’s share sheet, where you can print it or save it.
How do I change an answer?
Tap the answer again to clear it, or tap a different one. This works for past days too.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Privacy → Delete everything. This cannot be undone. Deleting the app also removes everything it stored, so save a backup first if you might want it back.
